INTRODUCING SKIN MEDY

A Complete Approach to Everyday Skin Health

What you do every day matters as much as what happens in clinic. Skin Medy was created to make that daily routine simple and effective: a small number of well-chosen products, grouped by what your skin needs, with the key active ingredients and their strengths listed openly.

It sits naturally alongside Juvenology's skin treatments. If you have a plan with us, Skin Medy is the at-home part of it, continuing the work between visits.

Skin Medy was co-founded by Juvenology's founder, Marina Kostadinova-Yankova.

SHOP BY SKIN CONCERN

Start With What You'd Like to Change

Each concern below points to the Skin Medy products made for it. Not every product suits every skin, so if you're unsure or have more than one concern, a skin consultation is the quickest way to a routine that suits you.

Dehydrated skin

Skin that feels tight, looks dull or shows fine lines more on some days.

Hydrating Serum · Anti Ageing Moisturiser · Calming Cleanser

Good to know: Layer the serum under the moisturiser, morning and evening.

Congested and blemish-prone skin

Blocked pores, oiliness and breakouts.

Glowing Cleanser · Resurfacing Cleanser · Flawless Elixir

Good to know: Start with one acid product and build up. Persistent or painful acne is best assessed in clinic: acne consultation.

Neck and décolletage

Dryness and crepiness on the neck and chest.

Hydrating Serum · Daily Moisturiser with SPF20

Good to know: Ultimate Neck Lift is available in clinic. Apply SPF to the neck and chest too.

Uneven skin tone and pigmentation

Dark spots, patches and an uneven complexion.

Imperfection Eraser Serum · Anti Ageing Vit C Serum · Broad Spectrum Sun Protection SPF50

Good to know: Daily SPF is essential, or pigmentation tends to return. New or changing pigmentation is worth a consultation.

Sensitive or irritated skin

Redness, reactivity and skin that stings easily.

Calming Cleanser

Good to know: Sensitive Skin Serum (fragrance-free) and the retinol-free Ageless night cream are available in clinic. Redness that persists may be rosacea: rosacea consultation.

Eye and lip care

Puffiness and fine lines around the eyes; dry or thin-looking lips.

Regenerative Eye Gel

Good to know: The eye gel is fragrance-free. Kissable Lips is available in clinic and contains capsicum extract, which can tingle.

Fine lines and visible signs of ageing

Early lines, loss of smoothness and texture changes.

Advanced Renewal Cream · Intense Retinol Cream · Anti Ageing Moisturiser

Good to know: Use one retinol product at a time, starting with the gentler one. Not for use in pregnancy.

Skin needing daily protection

Everyday defence against UV and environmental stress.

Broad Spectrum Sun Protection SPF50 · Anti Ageing Vit C Serum · Daily Moisturiser with SPF20

Good to know: For daily UV protection, use the SPF50. The SPF20 moisturiser is a light extra layer, not a replacement for it.

THE COLLECTION

The Skin Medy Collection

Every product lists its key active ingredients, with strengths where the formula states them, so you can see what you're putting on your skin.

Also in the range and available in clinic: Ultimate Neck Lift (neck and décolletage cream), Kissable Lips (lip treatment), Sensitive Skin Serum (fragrance-free calming day serum) and Ageless (retinol-free night cream with niacinamide and bakuchiol). Ask us about these

BUILD YOUR SKINCARE ROUTINE

Build Your Skincare Routine

A good routine is simple and consistent. Choose one product for each step, based on your skin, and add new active products one at a time. You don't need every product.

Morning

  1. Cleanse: Calming Cleanser, Resurfacing Cleanser or Glowing Cleanser (acid cleansers suit oily or congested skin; start a few times a week)

  2. Serum: Anti Ageing Vit C Serum or Hydrating Serum

  3. Moisturise: Anti Ageing Moisturiser or Daily Moisturiser with SPF20 (add Regenerative Eye Gel first if you use it)

  4. Protect: Broad Spectrum Sun Protection SPF50 (every morning, all year)

Evening

  1. Cleanse: Calming Cleanser, Resurfacing Cleanser or Glowing Cleanser (use the Calming Cleanser first if you wear make-up)

  2. Exfoliate (some evenings): Illuminate Polish (2–3 times a week only; skip on retinol nights while you start out)

  3. Targeted serum: Imperfection Eraser Serum, Flawless Elixir or Hydrating Serum (one active serum per evening)

  4. Night cream: Advanced Renewal Cream (retinol 0.5%), Intense Retinol Cream (retinol 1%) or Anti Ageing Moisturiser (only one retinol product, and not on the same night as Flawless Elixir or the Polish while your skin adjusts)

Introducing active ingredients. Retinol and exfoliating acids are effective, and they need a gradual start. Begin with two or three evenings a week and increase as your skin tolerates them. Some dryness or flaking in the first weeks can be normal; persistent stinging or redness is a sign to stop and ask us. Retinol is not for use in pregnancy, when trying to conceive or when breastfeeding, and should be paused before in-clinic treatments such as microneedling, peels or laser. Wear SPF every morning.

If you have sensitive skin, or want to combine several active products, we'd recommend a skin consultation first: book a skin consultation.

THE INGREDIENTS

The Ingredients

Good skincare starts with knowing what's in it. These are the key active ingredients across the Skin Medy range, what they are and where you'll find them.

Hyaluronic Acid

A moisture-binding molecule found naturally in skin.

Draws water into the skin's surface to help it look and feel hydrated.

Found in: Hydrating Serum (0.25%) · Daily Moisturiser with SPF20 (2%)

Lactic Acid

A gentler AHA.

Exfoliates the surface while helping skin hold moisture.

Found in: Glowing Cleanser (2%)

Alpha Arbutin

A brightening ingredient that acts on tyrosinase, the enzyme involved in pigment production.

Helps reduce the look of dark spots and uneven tone.

Found in: Imperfection Eraser Serum (2%)

Tranexamic Acid

A derivative of the amino acid lysine.

Used in skincare to help reduce the look of discolouration and uneven patches.

Found in: Imperfection Eraser Serum (1%)

Bakuchiol

A plant extract from the seeds of the babchi plant.

Often used as a gentler, retinol-free option for the look of fine lines and texture.

Found in: Ageless (0.5%), available in clinic

Glycolic Acid

An alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), the smallest of its group.

Loosens the bonds between dead skin cells for smoother, brighter-looking skin. Increases sun sensitivity, so SPF is essential.

Found in: Resurfacing Cleanser (5%) · Illuminate Polish (5%) · Glowing Cleanser (10%) · Flawless Elixir (12%)

Retinol

A form of vitamin A.

One of the most researched cosmetic ingredients for the look of fine lines, texture and uneven tone. Needs a gradual start, night-only use and daily SPF; not for use in pregnancy.

Found in: Advanced Renewal Cream (0.5%) · Intense Retinol Cream (1%)

Azelaic Acid

An acid found naturally in grains such as barley and wheat.

Helps even the look of skin tone and keep pores clear.

Found in: Imperfection Eraser Serum (2%)

Niacinamide

Vitamin B3.

Supports the skin barrier and helps reduce the look of redness and enlarged pores.

Found in: Ageless (4%), available in clinic

Salicylic Acid

A beta hydroxy acid (BHA) that dissolves in oil.

Works inside pores to help clear congestion and excess oil.

Found in: Resurfacing Cleanser (2%) · Glowing Cleanser (2%) · Flawless Elixir (0.5%)

Vitamin C

An antioxidant vitamin.

Helps defend skin against environmental stress and brighten the look of dull, uneven skin.

Found in: Anti Ageing Vit C Serum

Kojic Acid

An ingredient produced during the fermentation of rice.

Helps reduce the look of dark spots.

Found in: Imperfection Eraser Serum (0.5%)

Peptides

Short chains of amino acids.

Support the look of firmness and smoothness; results vary by peptide.

Found in: Anti Ageing Moisturiser · Advanced Renewal Cream · Regenerative Eye Gel · in-clinic products

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Skin Medy Questions

What is Skin Medy?

Skin Medy is a professional skincare range developed to support daily skin health, grouped into cleansing and exfoliating, hydrating and evening skin tone, protection, night care, lips and eyes, and sensitive skin. It was co-founded by Juvenology's founder, Marina Kostadinova-Yankova, and is available through Juvenology Clinic.

Can I combine different Skin Medy products?

Yes, the range is designed to work as a routine, but don't use every active product at once. Use one exfoliating acid product and one retinol product at most, ideally on different evenings at first, and introduce each new active on its own for a few weeks.

Do I need to use SPF?

Yes, every morning. Acids and retinol can make skin more sensitive to the sun, and daily protection also helps stop pigmentation returning. Broad Spectrum Sun Protection SPF50 is the range's daily sunscreen.

How can I get help choosing a skincare routine?

Book a skin consultation at our Maidstone clinic (£50, 30 minutes), where we look at your skin and the products you use now and recommend a routine. For a quick question first, message us on WhatsApp.

What skin concerns does the range address?

Dehydration, uneven tone and dark spots, congestion and excess oil, visible signs of ageing such as fine lines, sensitivity and redness, and daily UV protection. Shop by Skin Concern above shows which products suit each one.

How should I introduce retinol?

Start with Advanced Renewal Cream (retinol 0.5%) two or three evenings a week, then increase as your skin tolerates it. Intense Retinol Cream (1%) is for experienced users. Use retinol at night only, wear SPF every morning, pause it before in-clinic treatments, and don't use it if you're pregnant, trying to conceive or breastfeeding.

Which products are suitable for sensitive skin?

Sensitive Skin Serum and the retinol-free Ageless night cream (both available in clinic) are designed for sensitised skin, and the Calming Cleanser is a gentle cream cleanser. Imperfection Eraser Serum and Regenerative Eye Gel are fragrance-free. Patch test new products and ask us before starting acids or retinol.

How do I choose the right products?

Start with your main concern and choose one product for each step: cleanse, serum, moisturise and, in the morning, SPF. If you have several concerns, sensitive skin or aren't sure, book a skin consultation and we'll recommend a routine.

Can I use exfoliating acids every day?

It depends on the product and your skin. Illuminate Polish is for 2–3 times a week. The Resurfacing and Glowing cleansers and Flawless Elixir contain glycolic and salicylic acids, so start slowly and follow your specialist's advice. Daily SPF is essential with all of them.

What is the difference between the hydrating serums and moisturisers?

A serum is a light layer applied after cleansing to deliver ingredients such as hyaluronic acid. A moisturiser goes on top to help hold that moisture in. Anti Ageing Moisturiser contains peptides; Daily Moisturiser with SPF20 adds light sun protection. Many people use both.

PERSONALISE YOUR SKINCARE

Not Sure Which Products Are Right for Your Skin?

Choosing the right skincare routine involves understanding your skin, its concerns and the ingredients best suited to your needs.

Speak to the Juvenology team about selecting a Skin Medy routine tailored to your individual skincare goals. In a 30-minute skin consultation (£50) we look at your skin, review the products you use now and recommend a routine, with no obligation.
