After your treatment
Every test includes laboratory analysis and the standard laboratory report, which lists each result beside the laboratory's reference range.
Turnaround depends on the test and the laboratory, so we confirm the expected time when you book. Specialist tests usually take longer than routine ones; for example, the Gluten & Coeliac Screen has a stated turnaround of 16 working days.
If you'd like help understanding your report, you can add a written interpretation (£50) or a results consultation with Marina (£100). You can book a results discussion and advice consultation (£100) or a general consultation (£50) at any time after your results arrive.
What's usually expected
The tests give you health information, not a medical diagnosis, and they don't replace care from your GP or a specialist. A result outside the reference range is not always a cause for concern; some differences are small or temporary. If a result suggests you need medical follow-up, we will recommend that you see your GP and, with your consent, can provide a letter to take with you.
