Before your appointment
Please tell us before your appointment if:
- you have a medical condition or take regular medicines
- you have active breakouts, as acne needs to settle first
- your skin tends to darken after spots or grazes
- you have broken skin, a cold sore or a skin infection on your face
- you have a blood disorder or take blood-thinning medication (PRP facial)
- you are pregnant or breastfeeding
After your treatment
- Avoid make-up for 24 hours.
- Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas and alcohol for 48 hours.
- After exosome treatment, also avoid retinol and direct sun for 48 hours.
- Wear SPF every day.
Careful aftercare matters, especially for darker skin.
What's usually expected
Expect pink, warm skin for 24 to 48 hours, like mild sunburn. After a PRP facial there may be slight bruising where blood was taken. Less common risks include temporary darkening of the skin, more likely in deeper skin tones, and infection.
When to contact us
If you notice anything unexpected, such as worsening pain, swelling or signs of infection, contact the clinic.
