I’m Marina Kostadinova-Yankova. I’ve spent over 25 years in nursing, including six years in cardiac nursing at KIMS Hospital and two years as an Aesthetics Nurse Specialist at Spencer Private Hospitals.
At my clinic, I want you to feel comfortable asking questions. We’ll talk about what you’ve noticed, what you hope to understand and any concerns you have about treatment.
I’ll explain when an option may be suitable and when it may not be. Choosing no treatment is an option too.

What We’ll Discuss About Your Lines and Wrinkles
Lines can relate to facial movement, skin texture, loss of elasticity or changes in facial volume. I’ll assess your face at rest and during expression to help understand your concerns.
Many people come to me about lines across the forehead, frown lines between the eyebrows or lines around the eyes. These areas are shaped by how your face moves as well as by your skin, so I look at the whole picture rather than one line in isolation.
For some concerns, a different approach or no treatment may suit you better. I’ll tell you what I think and explain the limits of any option.
What Happens When We Meet?
First, I’ll listen. Tell me your concerns, previous treatments and relevant medical history, including any medicines you take.
Then, I’ll assess. I’ll look at your skin, facial anatomy and movement.
Finally, we’ll discuss your options. I’ll explain suitability, potential outcomes, limitations, risks and aftercare. You can ask questions and take time to decide.
Before You Book: Your Questions
Do I need to choose a treatment first?
No. Book with the concern you’d like assessed, such as forehead lines, frown lines or lines around your eyes. We’ll discuss suitable options when we meet.
Does a consultation mean I will have treatment?
No. Treatment is not guaranteed on the same day, and choosing no treatment is an option.
What should I bring to my consultation?
Details of your medical history, any medicines you take and any previous treatments. Tell me about any events coming up, so we can talk about timing.
Do you prescribe independently?
No. I’m not an independent prescriber. If a prescription-only option is considered, a suitably qualified prescriber must assess suitability and authorise any prescription before treatment can proceed.
What are the risks of treatment?
Every medical aesthetic treatment carries risks and is not suitable for everyone. I’ll explain the risks, what to expect afterwards and how to look after yourself before you decide anything.
What if I have a concern after my appointment?
