Is Profhilo® a Dermal Filler?
Profhilo® is not a dermal filler, it is very different from all other injectable substances as it has been engineered specifically for “skin bio remodelling”. It is biocompatible as it’s composed from a high-grade hyaluronic acid produced by bio-fermentation. Due to these properties, it can effectively enable the production of both your natural collagen and elastin, causing your skin to renew successfully, from within. Due to its high purity and the absence of additives, Profhilo® offers greater safety and therefore reduced side effects.

HOW MANY PROFHILO® TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?

Two sessions (one month apart) are recommended to achieve optimum results. Treatment sessions are recommended every 6-12 months to maintain results.

HOW QUICKLY WILL I SEE RESULTS?

Usually, the results are noticeable after just two sessions, separated by one month. Once this is accomplished, the improved firmness, elasticity, and overall skin quality will become evident.

WHAT IS THE DOWNTIME?

The downtime is very minimal. Following treatment, there may be signs of redness and swelling however this will usually subside within a few hours or at a maximum, one day.

You can expect the results to last for three months. Your results will vary depending on your skin type, the severity of wrinkles you’ve had treated, and how well you maintain your skin.
Is there any recovery or downtime?

After treatment, there is typically no recovery or downtime. Some patients experience mild redness, bruising, and swelling at the injection site. We recommend to skip activities with excessive sweating like training, sauna, steam, swim for 24 h after the treatment.
